Toys For Bob, the latest studio associated with Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, has joked that it’s now working on a new game. At this time, the latest release of Toys For Bob was the 2020 edition Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s Time. This long-awaited sequel was well received by critics and fans alike, which in turn has many eager to see what Toys For Bob does next. And while we don’t yet know what might be on the horizon for the studio, those working at the company are now offering some initial ideas.
In a recent tweet on the official Toys For Bob Twitter account, the studio identified every toy it has worked on since its inception in 1989. When listing all of these games in sequential order, Toys For Bob also hinted that it is currently developing its 18th project at this time. While no specific hints were given as to what this game could be associated with, the excitement alone prompted many fans in the responses to share their hopes and desires for what they would like to see next.

If Toys For Bob chooses to create another Crash Bandicoot game they follow crash 4This wouldn’t be a huge surprise. Earlier this year, rumors and leaks started circulating that a multiplayer-focused Crash game titled “Wumpa League” was apparently in the making. And while it wasn’t known if Toys For Bob specifically might be working on this game, it does seem possible given that the company has been closely associated with the property in recent years.
An important thing to keep in mind with Toys For Bob going forward is that the studio will soon be owned by Microsoft when the giant completes its acquisition of Activision in 2023. Although this deal likely won’t have any impact on what Toys do business For Bob is currently on, it could mean that the company will be able to work on other Xbox-owned properties in the future.
